    The multiplicity or state of becoming is discussed in an entertaining and poetic way by Deleuze in his writings on becoming animal where Freud is identified as most singular in his idea of consciousness dragging around its ‘black dog’ of a subconscious. Whereas Jung has our universal self being formed through identification with our many selves through the process of individuation.
